Our Autumn events – a celebration of foraging, fungi & nature

Sep 22, 2025

As the leaves turn golden and the air grows crisp, we are inviting you to take a look at our rich autumn programme rooted in nature, creativity and community – tickets are available now for our upcoming events. We have limited spaces available, so we encourage you to book today.

With events themed on foraging, fungi, and seasonal craft, there’s something for all ages and interests to enjoy—and a chance to reconnect with the landscapes and stories of West Cornwall.

For those new to what we do, The Gardeners’ House is a recently restored community building in Morrab Gardens. It is dedicated to celebrating the unique stories of West Cornwall, offering a space where the local community can connect both with nature and one another.

We are home to:

  • A living archive preserving documents, art, books and ephemera that reflect Cornwall’s natural history and the people who have cared for its land.
  • Wellbeing, arts and green projects—workshops, walks, sensory gardens—designed to nurture both people and place.
  • New community spaces where local voices, past and present, are invited in – to share, learn, explore and to enjoy the beauty of Penzance and the wider landscape of West Cornwall

Having officially opened in June 2025 and welcomed hundreds of people through our doors this summer, we are now launching our autumn programme of events,
