This December, as the quiet winter magic of Morrab Gardens begins to glow, we’re delighted to open the doors of the Gardener’s House for our very first Winter Fayre.
We will be bringing in a little bit of the magic that our landscape and people have to offer at this time of the year. This is not just another craft fayre – this is a chance for the community to come together—to share a mulled drink, find meaningful festive gifts, enjoy good company, and celebrate the season surrounded by creativity, connection, song and story – with activities suitable for all ages.
We’ll be celebrating creativity in our makers room where you’ll find a small selection of locally crafted goods to purchase – along with our friends from Sustainable Penzance who will be running their free gift wrap service.
Throughout the weekend we’ll be hosting a range of workshops for all ages and abilities, from free and affordable creative sessions like mindful wreath making and sustainable festive decorations, to offerings such as natural ink making —each one offering a moment to slow down, get hands-on, and enjoy the process of making.

There’ll be mulled drinks, delicious baked goods from our community, hot food from a much-loved local café, plus gentle moments of storytelling, music, and song drifting through the space.
