Lacto fermentation is one of the oldest methods of fermentation, which has been gaining popularity recently because of the number of associated health benefits.
Join Newlyn Fermentary’s co-founder, Rachel Booth, for an introductory workshop which will cover the basics of fermentation through a simple sauerkraut making class.
The class will offer historic and cultural context, as well as how we are fermenting today. Attendees will enjoy a taster and then make their own ferment of Winter Sauerkraut – a delicious and festive ferment which uses red cabbage, apple and fragrant spices – a perfect accompaniment to any roast dinner.
All equipment and ingredients are included.
