Repair Workshop

An opportunity to repair, mend or rework something to gift this Christmas.

Our clothes hold stories, whether that be a stubborn stain, an unlucky tear, or a ladder in a favourite piece of knitwear. Come and join us for a morning of learning (or sharing!) skills in how to mend our treasured items, adding valuable time to their useful life and beautifully stitched additions.

We will have designated mending stations; one for darning knitted garments (e.g; holes in jumpers or socks), one for mending rips or tears in woven garments (e.g; jeans or jackets) and one for creative visible mending through stitch and embroidery (e.g; small holes or stains on a bag or a top). All materials provided, but please bring your own if you’d like. Coffee and tea available.
