Our First Ever Farmers Market

We are proud to announce our first Gardeners House Farmers Market. This event celebrates our local food systems and the wealth of produce that Cornwall has to offer. We will be welcoming lots of our local Cornish growers, producers, bakers and makers through the doors on Saturday 9 May – along with the Gypsea Rogue coffee van, an artisan ice cream pop-up, a selection of information tables and a local food offering.
We hope that this is a chance for the community to come together and learn more about the food that is grown and produced in West Cornwall. Please do come along and pick up some locally grown produce, and find out more about what is being grown and made here on your doorstep.
Some of the traders you will meet include:
- Growing Links – Veg bags
- Sarah from Rosewall Bakery – breads and other baked goods
- Mel Luckhurst – flowers
- Cornish Golden Grains
- Karaday Fungi – mushrooms
- Antonia Adams – Herbs grown in Trewidden Garden
- Cornish Chillis
- Gypsea Rogue coffee cart
- Locally made ice cream pop up
- Badgers Food Forest
We will also be selling these items in the Gardeners’ House shop:
- Cornish seaweed
- Cornish seaberry drinks
We hope to have a local musician or band to liven up proceedings, and a food trader too to provide light refreshments for you to purchase.
