Magnolia Festival Day

Drop by this Sunday for the first Magnolia Festival, hosted by the Gardeners’ House in Morrab Gardens. The magnificent magnolias have survived the storms and got us through the end of winter with their flowers – and we are going to celebrate them!

Penzance Silver Band will be taking us back to the glory days of the Gardens, playing in a bandstand covered in magnolia blossoms made by volunteers at the Gardeners’ House. Barbed Choir will be singing up a storm, there will be magnolia cocktails and treats to eat – but watch out, the flowers are SPICY.

Come make a free postcard to send to a loved one, or a magnolia to wear on a promenade around the Gardens.

Come on Penzance – that was a grey old winter, lets get some springtime magic in our lives!

We’ll be hosting the day from 10am to 4pm, and the music on the bandstand will be from 12pm to 2pm. There is no need to book in advance – just come along on the day.
