Textured Stitching inspired by Moss and Lichens

Join us for a hands-on and inspiring workshop exploring the rich textures and intricate forms found in the wild array of mosses and lichens in Cornwall. Friendly for everyone from total beginners to more experienced stitchers.

We’ll be noticing and appreciating details, while learning several non-traditional techniques for building texture.

This workshop is brought to you by artist Vicks Harrison of the Cornish Hedge Textile Project.

You’ll be invited to contribute some of your stitching to the evolving Cornish Hedge Textile Quilt project, a collaborative community artwork inspired by the beauty to be found in each changing season throughout our hedgerows.
